BRANCH IN THE ROAD
One day a Course In Miracles student was walking in the woods and came to a place where the road branched. Not knowing which way to proceed he asked for help. He heard the following inner voice:
"When you come to the place where the branch in the road is quite apparent, you cannot go ahead. You must go either one way or the other. For now if you go straight ahead, the way you went before you reached the branch you will go nowhere. The whole purpose of coming this far was to decide which branch you will take now. The way you came no longer matters. It can no longer serve. No one who reaches this far can make the wrong decision, although he can delay. And there is no part of the journey that seems more hopeless and futile than standing where the road branches, and not deciding on which way to go. It is but the first few steps along the right way that seem hard, for you have chosen, although you still may think you can go back and make the other choice. This is not so.
A choice made with the power of Heaven to uphold it cannot be undone. Your way is decided. There will be nothing you will not be told, if you acknowledge this."
Still confused he asked for more specific directions. He was told: "One of the roads leads to Heaven, and the other leads to a discussion of Heaven which is really hell because it will keep you forever stuck in philosophical speculation about truth. This road is circular and will always lead you back to the same place where you can choose again. Many come to this place and choose to take the circular road over and over and over, until they ask: "What is it for". However the correct road will save you much time and pain. WHY WAIT FOR HEAVEN? HEAVEN IS HERE, NOW. YEA.”
What the above is saying to me is what the Course is saying to me: The separation from God has not occurred. However it seems to me that I, Nathan, as the dreamer of this dream of Separation believe that the impossible has actually occurred. That in Truth there are no answers in the world. The Course tells me to not deny what my body's eyes show but to ask for help from HS to see it through Christ's vision which I think is the same as true perception. I like to call it Immaculate Perception when I see everything this way, both "good" and "evil" then the world as I perceive it ends. It seems to me also that since even though I "Know" this is a dream, I experience it as though it were very real and that "connection with other people" is helpful in showing me what part of my mind still needs to be healed.
For me it was a process which went something like this. For much of my life If I felt upset or angry at someone, something, circumstance or event I thought and reacted as though these situations, in whatever form, were to blame for my upset. After doing the course for a number of years, I had a "shift" in my perception (a miracle) and I realized no one experience is doing anything to me except what I need for these experiences to do to help me wake up. And if that person, circumstance, situation or event didn't do it, I would have to find something else to fill that role. For me the whole purpose of the Course is to help me wake to my reality, not to try to fix the dream but to awaken from the dream. ~ Alan Dolit ~ Peace

My Sweet Lord
I love the philosophy of Hare Krishna, and the experience I had in being a vegetarian when first starting out on my path to awakening. I went to the Sunday service at the Hare Krishna Albany Temple here in Auckland New Zealand which was followed by a wonderful vegetarian meal.
I loved the wellness I experienced during the short experience I had with vegetarianism diets and the Hare Krishna philosophy. The George Harrison song "My Sweet Lord" is a favorite song of mine as are the lyrics.
My sweet lord
Hm, my lord
Hm, my lord
I really want to see you
Really want to be with you
Really want to see you lord
But it takes so long, my lord
My sweet lord
Hm, my lord
Hm, my lord
I really want to know you
Really want to go with you
Really want to show you lord
That it wont take long, my lord (hallelujah)
My sweet lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My sweet lord (hallelujah)
I really want to see you
Really want to see you
Really want to see you, lord
Really want to see you, lord
But it takes so long, my lord (hallelujah)
My sweet lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My, my, my lord (hallelujah)
I really want to know you (hallelujah)
Really want to go with you (hallelujah)
Really want to show you lord (aaah)
That it wont take long, my lord (hallelujah)
Hmm (hallelujah)
My sweet lord (hallelujah)
My, my, lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hare krishna)
My, my, my lord (hare krishna)
Oh hm, my sweet lord (krishna, krishna)
Oh-uuh-uh (hare hare)
Now, I really want to see you (hare rama)
Really want to be with you (hare rama)
Really want to see you lord (aaah)
But it takes so long, my lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My, my, my lord (hare krishna)
My sweet lord (hare krishna)
My sweet lord (krishna krishna)
My lord (hare hare)
Hm, hm (gurur brahma)
Hm, hm (gurur vishnu)
Hm, hm (gurur devo)
Hm, hm (maheshwara)
My sweet lord (gurur sakshaat)
My sweet lord (parabrahma)
My, my, my lord (tasmayi shree)
My, my, my, my lord (guruve namah)
My sweet lord (hare rama)
[fade:]
(hare krishna)
My sweet lord (hare krishna)
My sweet lord (krishna krishna)
My lord (hare hare)
Since getting married just over 5 years ago my discipline has slipped in this area and maybe it is time to re-look at re-inventing this way of living as far as food is concerned.

It is impossible that anything should come to me unbidden by myself. Even in this world, it is I who rule my destiny. What happens is what I desire. What does not occur is what I do not want to happen. This must I accept. For thus am I led past this world to my creations, children of my will, in Heaven where my holy Self abides with them and Him Who created me. A Course in Miracles
He is what I am, and as I see him so I see myself. A Course in Miracles
Here are the original Guidelines given by Jesus to Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford for the overall use of A Course In Miracles in the world. These Guidelines are still very helpful and practical today.
1. A Course In Miracles was copyrighted when it was first published in the 1970s in order to keep its thought-system intact during the first 3 decades of its birth and distribution to the world.
2. A Course In Miracles was intended to be a self-study course. Only Jesus & the Holy Spirit can reveal the meaning of the Course to the student's mind. Only God knows the readiness of the student to receive this revelation.
3. A Course In Miracles was only to be published by those who devoted their lives to its guardianship.
4. A Course In Miracles was not to be commercially advertised. It has and will continue to make its own way around the world. Freely you have received, now freely give.
5. Free copies of A Course In Miracles were to be provided to those people who could not afford the cost of the Course. This function was originally the responsibility of the publisher, and now is up to everyone who hears and Answers the Call. A Course In Miracles is now offered freely on the Internet for those who wish to read and/or print a copy of the book for their study and use.
6. No one was to make any money from A Course In Miracles. Revenues and donations are always to be used for sharing and extending the Course with the world and experiencing the Inner Peace of the Kingdom of Heaven within.

THE DISAPPEARING UNIVERSE
What seems eternal all will have an end.
The stars will disappear, and night and day will be no more.
All things that come and go, the tides, the seasons and the lives of men; all things that change with time and bloom and fade will not return. Where time has set an end is not where the eternal is.

World's Greatest Coach was Jesus
I love my horoscope for today:
"Your sense of centeredness is strong, but you need to push it a
little farther if you want to withstand the storm that's coming from
school or work. You know where you need to be, so head in that direction."
I love this because it reminds me to not accept mediocrity and to not
get comfortable. Push it. Push it real good.
I was thinking about Jesus the other day and how he didn't just walk
around all smiles and flowers and sunshine. He didn't walk around
healing people like he was a magician with a magic wand. He wasn't
just this nice happy person. He was the savior. He confronted,
challenged and inspired people. He did it with love, but he still
pushed people past their comfort zone. He pissed off a lot of people.
He didn't just walk around saying everything is great, everything is
good, everything is perfect.
He knew that there was work to do.
I was thinking about great coaches. They go in and push their athletes
to be the best. They don't walk in and say, everything is perfect.
They don't accept laziness. They don't accept excuses. A great coach
pushes until there is blood, sweat and tears. They push an athlete
past the point of pain. They push until it hurts.
But not because they are being mean. There is a difference between
being a bully and being someone who inspires people to greatness.
A great coach knows that beneath a person's excuses and laziness is a
strength they don't know exists. A great coach sees potential. He
knows that underneath the surface are abilities that can only be
brought out by pushing past a certain point.
If you have ever run before, you will know that at the point you start
to sweat, something new happens. It actually gets easier. You start to
feel stronger. You will never know about this while you are walking or
taking a stroll. You must push past a certain point (past the point
where you want to give up, past the point where it hurts) and then you
find a strength that you didn't know existed.
A great coach doesn't talk an ability out of an athlete. They don't
sit around having tea, discussing potential. A great coach screams and
yells and pushes an individual past the point of physical exhaustion.
This is Jesus. He confronts, challenges, and inspires.
He doesn't look past an appearance and say everything is fine. He
screams: Stand up! He tips over the money tables. He says put down
your sword. He says forgive your enemy.
He doesn't do the work. You notice? He makes YOU do the work. A great
coach does not run laps. He makes others run laps.
Jesus is the greatest coach of all time.
He doesn't do the work for me. He pushes me to do the work. He
challenges me. He doesn't just give me a miracle. Great athletes work
hard. A great coach stands with an individual day in and day out,
pushing screaming yelling, for as long as it takes.
And so sometimes (often?) you will feel like you want to give up. Any
athlete in training knows how this feels. You think your body won't
hold up for even one more minute. You just want to lie on the grass
and cry. You want to sleep. You want to quit. Ask any athlete, and
they will tell you the road to greatness had many bad days. They will
tell you about doubt and pain, and total anger at their coach.
Many coaches are hated, until the athlete recognizes his own inner
power, and then the coach is loved and respected. Finally the athlete
sees that the coach had his best interest in mind the entire time.
It's impossible to see this when a coach is screaming "YOU PATHETIC
LAZY SHIT! YOU'RE WORTHLESS! YOU'LL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING."
Most people give up at this point, but if you're smart, you'll realize
this kind of instruction is the best gift you will ever receive.
Sometimes the people you hate the most, are the ones who bring out the
best in you in the end.
You should be thanking the ones that challenge you, and who don't
accept mediocrity from you. You should be glad to have a few people
who tell you to get off your ass and stop being lazy.
You just gotta push though the UNCOMFORT zone. First you have to break
out of the comfort zone, then you have to push through the uncomfort
zone. Keep going. When you hit a wall, remember Nike says "walls have
doors." Push it. Push it real good. Don't give up when you feel like a
total failure. Don't give up when it looks like nothing is happening.
You are in training. Keep going.
Go!!!!!
STOP WHINING!!! YOU LAZY SHIT! GO!

Father's Day
Hey dad .. hope your having a happy fathers day so far .. ..
we wish u lots of love from Alesha Maximus and Nathan .. xOxO
heres something especially for you .
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of ages,
The power of the eagles flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew his masterpiece was complete,
and so, he called it ... DAD .
Love you lots dad
love from Alesha Nathan and Maximus .

LOVE IS
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
